My name is Chris Spencer, I’m a 40 something year old wireless developer who has been interested in, and learning, photography since around the year 2000. I do not class myself as an expert, but I like to think I have sufficient knowledge to take nice photo’s

I live in Tuxford a small village in the heart of Nottinghamshire, close to Sherwood Forest the home of Robin Hood, with my beautiful wife Nina who often appears in my photostream.

I enjoy taking photographs of everything and anything, and I wanted a way to share my photos with a larger audience so setup my own little Flickr Photostream.

I shoot with a Canon 400d that my wife bought me a few years ago, I upgraded my lens recently to an EFS 18 – 200mm with IS mainly to save me having to swap on shoot between the stock 18 – 55 and my 55 – 200mm.

My next dream camera is the new Canon 7d but have some saving to do first..

I accept constructive criticism about my photography and welcome nice comments on here. I understand my photos will not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if I can just make one person smile or bringing back a special memory to that someone then this makes every photo I post worthwhile.
