I am a complete photography amateur. I shoot pretty much exclusively with a Canon S5 IS, a gift from my wonderful friends, and a Canon S1IS, which I love for being my first camera that I can adjust settings on. Occasionally you'll see things on here from disposable point-and-shoots or from friends' cameras that I steal when I leave mine behind.

I'm happily married with two furry-children (Laika and Pie), two slimy children (Mango and Gilligan), one feathered child(MacGrevin), and one spiked child (Clementine).

If you add me as a contact and I don't add you back, please don't be offended. I keep my contact list quite small so that I can actively follow the photostreams of everyone I have listed. (I would rather have strong relationships with a few than I would a big list of people I don't know.)

Christine is an incredibly nice and creative person. She's also way smarter than you, though she doesn't rub it in. Her photography is fantastic, and she has the magical ability to catch the best expressions on her subjects, even if they aren't human. This lady could make a plant smile. She's also an excellent climber, no matter how many pictures you see of her struggling or falling off of walls. Don't believe those. It's all just a trick of the light. Christine is one of the few pirates I have met that are really cool.

Turtblu is a truly amazing person. : ) In case you can't tell, she's an amazing photographer. She takes pictures with a broken camera that I couldn't hope to compare to with a functional DSLR. 'Nuf said!
