I'm a native Austrian but spent most of my time at the sea side. I simply like everything near the beach. In my early years in a professional world I worked as a DJ although my first love was a camera I got from my mom as a birthday present while I was a young boy.

I bought my first digi cam in 2002 when they got cheap enough. I was waiting quiet some years for that moment. It was a Powershot S30 and it served me until 2007 as good tool to learn.

After I got really bored with music I bought a Canon 30D and a couple of lenses, stopped DJing and went to live in Barcelona. A great place to learn about photography. So many different things to shoot in a relatively small place.

Back on the coast in Croatia where I used to live before, I went on to take pics at events. I didn't want to get involved in the music biz again but since I was enjoying some great festivals, I thought I could take some pics as well. It was pretty easy and fun in the end. Working in this field for so many years as a DJ, I knew what was going on.

Recently I'm more focused on further city portraits as I did for Barcelona, all kind of long time exposures and capturing surfers in action.

I got widely published in several newspapers, magazines, tourist guides and on countless websites. I had 2 solo expos to date.
