When I began photography in SL, I searched for a photographer and photography to study. What I found was Tur Chaffe. His work unlike any I had seen, inspired me, moved me, made me want to make art that could do that as his does. I always said, "when I grow up I want to be just like Tur Chaffe". Everyone knew he was/is the photographer in SL that I admire and respect at the highest level. When anyone asks who I think is the best photographer in SL, that has never been an issue to choose a name. It has always been Tur. There is art you see... and there is art you feel. Tur Chaffe has the ability to touch you with his work, his attention to detail and his imagination. Thank you Tur for sharing your wonderful works with us all. :)

Apart from the 16 facts here on Flickr and an occasional meeting at a gallery in world I have not had much chances to get to know Tur. But I do know his work. Apart from the 16 facts here on Flickr and an occasional meeting at a gallery in world I have not had much chances to get to know Tur. But I do know his work. I think I could recognise it out of thousands. His work is totally inspiring and powerful. His pics tell a story all by themselves. It grabs you by the throat sort a speak. His skills are the best I have seen from the SL artists and in my opinion only a little few can come close. I am a huge admirer of his work and talent and to me he is a master photographer. I hope to see many more works Tur.

This guys art is more than just outstanding. He tells stories and transports them in such a catching way, that every comment and every favourite he gets for it is worth it for sure. This guys art is more than just outstanding. He tells stories and transports them in such a catching way, that every comment and every favourite he gets for it is worth it for sure. It is so easy to do just a picture, but Tur turns them into story you can dive into. I love his eye for details and each picture you see is a hard work full of passion and perfection. The talks we had were always going deep, he has a mind of his own, a strong character and if I want an honest opinion about anything I would for sure ask Tur, because you can be sure you get one. Keep it up, Tur! You are one of the best around!
