Compared to music which has been my passion for almost two decades, photography is a new journey which i undertook seriously from early 2007. After toying around with a friend's Canon 350D, I was attracted to what photography can do as an artform.

Hence my foray into my first dslr, a Nikon D70s, which was shortlived by a Nikon D80 few months later due to its better features. Why Nikon? Cause my dad used to be a Nikonian in the good old film days, so to continue the tradition, his son is a Nikonian too!

I was pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering in Nanyang Technological University, photography becomes one of the activities I did to break the mundaneness of school life. To me, photography allows me to get one on one with the subject element/s and to connect directly to the art. Combined with the endless photographic equipment and techniques, a plethora of artforms can be created.

I'm still exploring the various photographic forms and reading voraciously for new ideas and techniques. Years ago, my foray into film (using my dad's equipment) has aided and enhanced my digital photography.

Currently, I have stopped using my DSLR temporarily for photography due to my young son. I am now using the Huawei P30pro for all my photography needs.
