Although I live and work in London, most of my photos featured here will be of places I have visited on holidays and weekends away. I know I live in one of the most photographed cities in the world, but after a day at the office, I never feel inspired to take the ol' camera out and shoot. Maybe this will change by posting on flickr ... maybe.

I started photography years ago with a canon EOS300. I used to leave it on automatic mode (I know, I know it's terrible) until I attended a photography course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. On my 30th birthday, I was pleasantly surprised by my husband who bought me my current camera, the amazing nikon d70s. Ever since then I have been shooting photos, buying equipment and learning along the way.

The photos featured here will be ones I am the most pleased with. However, I really would appreciate comments, both positive and negative. So if you don't like something and can tell me why, then please do. If you do like something please let me know too!

I have also started a photoblog, i k s h a separate to my flickr photos. Please take a look, I will be posting photos I started labelling as my favourite ones. I will also be posting the same photos on flickr later :-)
