Tuhin De has a lovely photographic vision of showcasing India as its exists with all its color, glamor, squalor and its ups and downs in a totally grungy presentation which suits the palette of photo journalistic presentation of India. It is the spirit of the human being that is on display in his pictures, the struggle, the purposeful move forward, the happy end point of existence. Not the abject surrender and meek destituition, as India can so easily be portrayed and is done by people looking for easy photographic subjects. The capture is always interesting, with a remarkable eye. I sometimes thought that it was because of his remarkably interesting environment that made his photographs so compelling.
