I started going into abandoned buildings with a point-and-shoot years ago. I felt limited by what few options the camera's "manual" mode offered. Then I bought a 1970's Canon AT-1 film SLR at an estate sale, taught myself how to use it and took it everywhere. It felt like moving to a powerful, great handling, stick-shift car after driving an automatic land yacht. That camera starting developing issues, so I moved to a DSLR.
Cars, abandoned buildings, travel, production stills/unit stills photography and random nonsense, that's what I shoot.
I started racing cars when I was 16, I've been drifting since 2004ish, legally since 2005 and now I seem to shoot them more than race/drift them. It's all fun.
