The purchase of an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic in Japan while in the Navy began a lifelong love of photography. Over the years the journey continued with many ventures into different genres of photography…Wedding, Portrait, Events, Photojournalism, and Sports. The experiences were always part-time while continuing to work full-time. It was a hobby gone totally out of control. For over five decades, shooting everything from large format, medium format, 35mm to digital, the enjoyment and love of photography continues. Except for documenting the lives of grandchildren and family the focus now is bird and sports photography and I'm still hoping to get “The Shot”.
