i'm the chief technology officer of a new zealand-based telecomms company.

photography is one of my hobbies, and one i take fairly seriously. all photos were taken with the following kit:

a canon eos 5d mark II, or a

canon eos 5d, or a

canon eos 350d, and one of:

canon 70-200mm f/4.0L is lens

canon 24-105mm f/4.0L is lens

canon 17-40mm f/4.0L lens

canon 50mm f/1.8 lens

i use film (both 35mm and mf) a fair bit as well, and regularly use:

a diana+.

an olympus om-4 with a 50mm f/1.4 or a 28mm f/2.8.

an old leica III.

i also use a speedlite 430ex strobe and a manfrotto tripod and head. i generally process and scan all my own black and white film, and do my own black and white (darkroom) printing.
