I may tweak the exposure level or apply some minor styling to my photos occasionally, but (although I greatly respect the offerings of others on flickr) I am not one for highly processed photo-art.

I'm a dreamer, not an artist; a snapper, not a photographer; a dabbler, rather than a geek. Consequently, I'm afraid my stream is a rather untidy mix of 'scrapbook' photos, quickly captured moments, and just maybe, on a rare occasion, an inspired composition.

(Which pretty much reflects the story of my life, anyway ;-)

I'm fond of contrast, flares, glares and other juxtapositions, but, if I have an underlying goal, it would be finding interest in the mundane. More than anything, my flickr stream serves me as a visual reminder of those magical moments - captured moments of joy within that larger mural of life and time (no matter how imperfect the photographs themselves). Should any of the photographs make you smile also, then that's just a bonus for the universe's collective well-being.

I'm always happy to receive comments, advice and constructive criticism. I will respond in kind if invited to do so. I do not care so much for accolades and please DO NOT BOTHER sending me any 'awards', comments with hideous graphics attached, or invite me to groups having a "post 1 - comment 5" (or similar) policy. I simply delete this contrived and disingenuous spam.
