I like to photograph my travels, travails, activities, joys and pleasures, interesting things, places, sights and ideas I get.

I love nature, and enjoy life the most when I'm out riding my bike, skiing or going on foot.

I enjoy the strenuous ways going up as much as the exhilarating ways going down.

I like experiencing the forces of nature, and can enjoy "the perfect day" in really tough weather as likely as in warm, clear, calm sun.

"There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." -Norwegian proverb

I'm also technically interested, and like to understand why things are as they are and work as they do.

Pictures I'd like would typically include bright colours, sharp contrasts, symmetry, architecture, beautiful views, great accomplishments, exciting nature, places, sports etc.

My gear consists of a Canon EOS 400D with a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.

I have a Canon Speedlite 430EX II, two Yongnuo YN-460 II flashes and three Yongnuo RF-602 wireless flash triggers.
