Retired in 1999 after 40+ years as a Technical Principal involved in measuring performance and testing control of Liquid Rocket Engines. Consulted for 12 more years. Became interested in bird and wildlife photography over the last 20 years as I discovered that a long reach point and shoot bridge camera was more convenient for me than a spotting scope. Travel a lot. Live in the Northern California Sierra foothills between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.
