I have always loved taking pictures ... for my 16th birthday all I wanted was an SLR and I got a point and shoot - still managed to get some shots .

I finally went SLR with a Minolta 700 that survived Australian deserts Indian sandstorms the south china sea - 2 immersions close encounters with Komodo dragons and finally gave up after an incident with a gin and tonic.

... dabbled with a Sony Cybershot during a gadget phase and now am shooting with a D70s for no other reason than it felt right in my hand ... ( the hand holding the wallet that is... If I'd followed my obsessive tendencies I'd be holding a D2X right now ... and working a second job to pay alimony)

I shoot want I want to shoot if you look at my stream you'll see this.... I have no specific favourite subject ..All I really want to do is improve ..... When I started taking shots I had that ..."hmm .. not bad" kind of happy glow .. now I have spent time looking at the shots on streams like my contacts and I realise that I am at the bottom edge of a learning curve that hurts my neck just looking up at it.

PLEASE make comments /critique my shots .. thats the only way to improve .. so please dont be shy... in the same way - if anyone wants MHO on anything - Ill be sure to ask.
