My name is Saskia and I'm 20;
Well as you can tell from my photostream I love animals, particularly my own <3 Been really into photography for a while now and got my first DSLR in Sep 08'. Still learning alot but have also learnt alot being on flickr for a few months. I'm a pretty shy person and photography is my outlet for alot of stuff so whenever I can I get my camera out. I plan on started my own pet photography business later in 2010.
Shandi is my Labrador/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who turns 4 in October 2010. She is often mistaken for a Rottie because of her markings. She is the goofiest girl ever, always acting like a puppy and trying to play with the cat. For more information go here;
Banjo is my Australian Cattle Dog mix who I just adopted yesterday (September 24th) at the age of 7 weeks. Yet again another breed that gets mistaken for something else. Almost everyone thinks he has Jack Russell in him just because of his markings. He's warming up to Shandi and is enjoying playing with her now. He's a little rascal, loves digging and chewing up things. You can read more about him here;

I'm very jealous of Saskia's ability to capture the bond between dog and owner! Her work is always beautifully edited and framed. The emotion that comes through in every shot really shows her deep love for dogs (and the occasional cat too)! Big hugs for Banjo and Shandi!
