Hola World!

 

My name is Trond Gjerde, 42 years Old.

I live in Oslo, Norway on the east side

 

I work with SAP in the Norwegian defence

 

I am married to an Argentinian woman from Buenos Aires and we have a son together. I have always liked to take photos. Started out in the army with a cheap pocket camera. It was always lying in my uniform and i got a lot of funny pictures.

 

The interest just grew on me and bought my first digital camera years later. It was an ixus early version. Later upgraded to newer models but still in the pocket camera range.

 

Finally bought my first DSLR camera when my son was born. It was a used Nikon D70s ( upgraded to D90 ) and still is my camera. The first look at the camera scared me big time, so many buttons and wheels...Luckily i found Auto...Pheew.

 

After many shots and growing even more fond of taking pictures i got interested to know what all these buttons do...Been playing since.

 

Funny how you can turn a wheel and the picture just changes in many ways :-)

 

Ok, i am a complete rookie and i am still working on shutter speed, iso and what ever they are all called.

I would really like some feedback on my pictures. It will hopefully give me some more insight to this wonderful universe of capturing "life"

 

My goal is to have fun and take nice pictures of my life and surroundings. If by some crazy reason some others enjoy them, well that's just plain cool.

 

I am woking on:

1) Composing , placing the shot.

2) Controlling the light or lack of it...arrrghhhh

3) Learning abit of photoshop
