"Not all those who wander are lost" Tolkien

I Wander... always with camera and usually tripod attached to my pack. I enjoy hiking and traveling. Is it that I am a photographer therefore I hike or I hike therefore I shoot? I'm not sure which came first. It is funny the looks I get as I am on trail with about 10 pounds of camera equipment. "You must be a photographer" they will say. My response is always it's a hobby that I enjoy.

I do see unbelievable beauty in this world and cosmos. I attempt with limited tools to capture a glimpse of that beauty and majesty.
