I'm currently a Ph.D. Student at the University of Michigan using squamates as a model system for studying speciation and macroevolution. I received my Master's of Science from Clemson University in Biological Sciences and my Bachelor's of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences: Fish and Wildlife Conservation. I've had this passion for as long as I can remember... Shrouding myself in the wonderment of nature has always brought me the most complacency in my life. I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs and spend a great deal of my time exploring herpetofauna from all over the globe.
