Testimonials

a stream of deep and honest beauty. Trista is a lively and wonderful photographer that paints a page of her life one day at a time and I find it a joy to see each page as it turns. I could babble for some time about this woman's art but suffice to say she does amazing work and I am and will continue to be a fan.

When I saw your shots, the only thing I think is ... the world could be closed into your eyes! Your shots are amazing and I feel the desire to melt me into them! Colors, moods, emotions, feelings.. you can transmit all this thing like a golden drop when it fall in a lake and you can see all circles... I love your angles and I love the DOF and composition. In your shots Soft lights like soft hugs those can give you something warm in your heart! Your photos are always connected with wonderful words.... and I love your fragility and strength! I love your elegance and grace... your touch... Photography, as we all know, is not real at all. It is an illusion of reality with which we create our own private world. - Arnold Newman Thanks to let me enter in your world! I want to enter into your world and into your soul! It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry You are able to show me also emotions and feelings ... and this is essential...... I really love this one: What uses having a great depth of field, if there is not an adequate depth of feeling? - W. Eugene Smith .. and I guess you can wear it! Thanks, Mik

I found Trista's photostream through a friend, and each and every day I'm more and more impressed by her work. She creates extraordinary self-portraits, many of which leave me speechless, staring at the screen for countless minutes just taking it all in. Her beauty and attention to detail are impeccable, just as her lighting and processing are spot on. Her photographs are also incredibly evocative and tell an otherwise ineffable story in just one frame. The moment I found out about FGR's Tribute theme, I knew exactly to whom my tribute would be. Trista is a continual source of inspiration, and I always look forward to what she'll post next!

Since discovering Trista’s photostream while looking through photographs in the project365 group I’ve seemingly found myself at loss for words almost every single day. Her unworldly ability to express and capture her own emotion through her self-portraits can only be described as breathtaking, and her ability to capture the world around her is just the same. Trista is also an amazing and loyal friend. While her photostream, rightfully, receives tons of visits each day she always seems to make the time to visit those who impart words of wisdom and thought to her. Her comments are both insightful and meaningful, and I’ve found myself wanting to thank her for her input for days. In closing, Trista is without a doubt one of the most phenomenal and talented individuals here on flickr today. I think many individuals on her contacts list will agree with me that it was only a matter of time before she became the bright shinning flickr star that she is today.

I wasn't around at Trista's outset, but we started following each other once we realized we started the 365 Days Project on the same day. I've got to say that her shots never fail to amaze me. It doesn't matter what the subject is; whether it is her lovely self-portraits, her squirrelly critter snaps, her restful compositions or her downright creepy finds, her style and ability are always top-notch. In case you haven't noticed, Trista is truly a master (uh, mistress?) with her Nikon and 50mm 1.4 lens, which is what most of her shots are taken with. The depth of field is perfect every time, which is something that can be said of very few here on flickr (certainly not me!). Her comments have been picking up steam lately, and rightfully so. She is as friendly a person you're ever likely to meet, and constantly engages with her growing fanbase. It was only a matter of time until she "hit it" and came out of the shadows and into the light of flickr stardom. So keep your eyes on this flickrite, everyone. You're going to be seeing great things from Trista for a long time to come.

No testimonials???!!! My guess is that soon Trista will have dozens. I have been lucky enough to have joined her stream early, and have watched as her views and comments have grown. This is no surprise. It's not only that Trista is beautiful (she is), but many people on flickr have that going for them. Trista catches her beauty in such a subtle, nice, non-pretentious way that you genuinely look forward to seeing how she feels and how she will show you how she feels each day. I said it on a comment before, Trista is going to be a flickr star!
