Together with my husband Tony (tickspics), my great passion is photographing wildlife - for us, nothing beats the experience of capturing images of animals and birds in their natural habitat. We thoroughly enjoy travelling to other countries where we can indulge our love for the natural world as well as our hobby.

In October 2020 I traded in all of the Nikon gear I'd been using for years and switched over to Olympus MFT, mainly because of the weight issue but partly because it didn't look as though Nikon were ever going to update my main animal photography lens! I now have two EM1 Mkiii bodies plus the 40-150mm f/2.8, 100-400mm f/4-5.6, 12-40mm f/2.8, 12-100mm f/4 lenses and the 1.4TC. Due to not being able to travel for the last year I haven't had much opportunity to try it all out as I would wish but so far it's looking promising. Time will tell!

If you fave my photos, thank you, but if you don't leave a comment I won't take the time to look at your photostream - which would be a shame :)

PLEASE NOTE: If any organisation or individual wishes to use any of my images (for whatever purpose) at any time, you do not have my permission unless you request it and I grant it.

I can feel the very special and intense relationship for wildlife watching. Some images perfectly recreate the lights, the atmosphere and the sensations of an encounter in the wild world. Thank you for these always stimulating images. Let's hope that wildlife can continue to live free in such a threatening time. Congra… Read more

Hooray ! I also believe she is being too modest in not believing her pictures are of publishable quality ( even if it means a joint effort with Tony, whose pictures are also fantastic). Your travels near and far are also interesting to read about and I/we always look forward to your return with ever more inspirational pics. I remain your friend. Terry

Wow! I am amazed there are no testimonials for this talented photographer !... Even I, am at fault, for not doing one sooner.... so here I am to put that right. I have known Tris for almost 4 years, as a fellow enthusiast of photography, and through her pics, we have become "internet friends". She has a natural talent for seeing a pic in her mind`s eye before she presses the shutter, and the results are excellent. As she has progressed from "point and shoot" up to the "big boys toys" her expertise in the use of the DSLR camera types has improved with every series that she shoots. I really enjoy looking at her photostream, but it also makes me very jealous of her talents. I did suggest that she get together with a publisher, and make up a book of photographs from her "very best"... but she says she is not good enough.... I totally disagree !.. Thankyou, Tris, for being my friend,... on here, with the photography, and on a more personal note too. You are a treasure. !
