Tony is an absolute beast of a photographer but also an all around great person. He's the kind of guy you want to have with you when you're out in the wilderness hunting for that next big photo. Not because he will save you from a mountain lion (he might but I wouldn't count on it), but because he will make you see things you wouldn't have seen otherwise. Tony's images were a big inspiration for me when I first started getting into photography. I learned of many different locations to shoot because of his immaculately geotagged images. Some of my best work wouldn't exist if it weren't for Tony. It's rare to come across a photographer that photographs some great off-the-beaten-path locations yet isn't afraid to share those locations with other would-be photographers. Incredibly knowledgeable, infinitely patient, and a wonderful eye for composition, light and mood, he basically has it all. And filters. He has a lot of those too. I'm still trying to get him to lend me his ridge filter but I'm pretty sure he sleeps with it under his pillow at night.
