East TN, USA area married male born in early 1970's. Survived COVID19 and 3 months later, the vaccine for it, then 9 months after that, caught it again, no major symptoms from vaccine or virus. I have too many hobbies, which include kayaking, swimming, running, paddle boarding, and photography. I love shooting sports, dance, festivals, fashion, and occasional wildlife with my canon "L" lenses and DSLR's, but also love doing many things and going places they can't go as well. I can't shoot anywhere close to all the wildlife I see because that happens when I'm trail running or on a paddle board. I carry a cheap waterproof, point-and-shoot camera with attached float on my paddleboard. Occasionally, I shoot some interesting wild life with if I start early enough and can manage to get close enough without scaring it off.

Finally, let me add that I'm not a bean counter. Feel free to add my content to favorites, galleries, make comments, or group invites so long as nothing is derogatory toward the subjects/models in the photos. I don't care how many comments you make without adding to favorites or vice versa.

On a related note, I just blocked 37 admins of a group where I was a long standing and long contributing member and was suddenly booted from. Such is the danger of groups with large numbers of admins who don't even know each other. Clearly only one did it, but I don't know which, so I blocked them all. One hand does not know what the other is doing.

If you're the admin of a highly-selective / picky group without clear guidelines, then please don't invite me to join, just decide which 0.01% of my photos you want in the group and invite them. If I'm in a group that has a selection que, and a majority of what I submit is rejected, I will leave the group and cease adding anything uninvited to it. This is better for everyone. As an admin, you have to decide whether you're gatekeeping (allowing everything that's on-topic and meets the guidelines) or curating (selecting only what you want in the group and rejecting everything else).

Finally, if you have a habit of inviting my photos, which are about 99% "safe" and maybe 1% "moderate" into groups that permit "restricted" content or have pornographic names, please move on. I'm not interested. If you're going to run a porn group, then limit your invitations to porn. Swimwear, sexy costumes, etc. pretty much don't require the "restricted" flag with very few exceptions, so there isn't a reason to scandalize this sort of content by mixing it into galleries containing hardcore porn and full nudity.
