English born but I have lived outside of the UK for more than 45 years - firstly in Israel (12 years) and now in The Netherlands (30+ years).

Photography is my pleasure and obsession.

My favourite genre is Street but I am an observational photographer - I photograph what I walk into!

It gives you a means to express yourself in a foreign country where your language is not up to speed

It gives you an excuse for going out and visiting places

It helps make you more aware and observant of your surroundings
