On the other he's continued to learn and develop as an individual artist to the point of being a full fledged professional. And to top it off he's one helluva good man and father of my unborn children. Hire him for your weddings. Fire him for your funerals.

So far, my best guess is that he's trying to get into my pants and perhaps work his way towards marriage so he can stay in the country on more than a work visa. Aside from this, Trent is an upstanding guy. I'd say he's pretty much a giver, always eager to help others whether it's time, knowledge or even gear!
