TreeFall Design is the brand name created by British textiles designer, Manda McGrory.

Following an unusual career path that includes running away with the circus, training as a carpenter and working as a bank manager, Manda discovered her true passion for all things textile whilst expecting her first daughter five years ago.

An interest in traditional quilting led to a fast growing obsession with fabrics and in turn to the joys of both craft blogs and on line fabric shopping!

After a few years of writing her successful blog (www.treefalldesign.typepad.com) and selling her original designs through a number of international outlets as well as her own Etsy store, Manda was approached by the publishers of the sewing magazine Sew Hip and asked to join the team as the founding Editor.

The addition of her second daughter has meant that Manda has refocused her attentions once again on designing and making her own products for the retail market. And her list of customers continues to grow.

Manda’s love of print and pattern is evident in her collection of quilts, soft toys and home accessories, where she manages to combine natural linens and printed cottons to create a look distinctive to TreeFall.

Her playmats and quilts are all created to be used and loved. They can all be machine washed and tumble dried and are built to last.

Her totes and bags are fully lined and include those little details that truly make the handmade stand out.

Where possible Manda recycles and uses many vintage, repurposed fabrics in her patchwork creations and believes in using sustainable, responsible materials.

TreeFall Design is about handmade goodness. It’s about originality, utility and beauty and time honoured traditions with a modern twist.
