Welcome to my Flickr account. Here i upload all my zoo related photos. Apart from animal photos/close ups, I make photos of enclosures, cages, exhibits, rides, signs, etc.

The best way to find something is to go through "Collections": www.flickr.com/photos/trebaruna/collections

The date of when the photos were taken is always mentioned in the album and/or tags. (I only started making photos of enclosures in 2013, so there is not much from before then. Apart from a bunch of older photos from some dutch Zoos) Most of the enclosure-photos are made with a Nikon Coolpix4200. As of 2017 these are made with a Nikon Coolpix A300. A quick point and shoot camera, so don't expect masterpieces ;)

My animal photos have been made using;

Nikon D90. As of 2020 I switched to a Nikon D500.

Sigma 135-400mm F/4.5-5.6 APO DG As of early 2019 I switched to the Nikkor 80-400mm F4.5-5.6 G ED

Sigma 28-70 mm F 2.8 DG EX As of early 2019 I switched to the Nikkor 17-55mm F2.8 G-ED

Nikkor 105 mm F2.8 VR ED Micro

The name of the species of the animal in question is always mentioned in the title of the photos. In the description there is mention of the city/zoo where the photo was taken and sometimes even the "christian name" of the animal. If the species info is missing (or faulty) please let me know, sometimes i try to upload photos too quickly and mistakes slip in.

(Animal photos from before 2013 were not of very good quality I'm afraid (only started shooting in raw from that moment onwards), but I'm uploading some of them anyway because some are of rare species and therefore they are interesting to put on display.)

All the photos (of enclosures as well as of animals) have lots of tags attached to them; so it should be easy to search for photos of a specific zoo/city/species/year/date/country/etc

Apart from photos of zoos I've made two maps concerning them.
