"The reason I like photography is that pictures capture moments, the moments you take them. We're never really in the past. We're never in the future. The only thing we're ever actually in is the present. Right now, me and you, sitting here, ...is right now. And a moment from now, when I get up and I'm gone, this will never be again. Pictures capture imaginary moments. They don't exist except... they did. So, suppose you're in the future, and you're looking back on this moment. Is there anything you'd want to change? Because there really is just... right now."
~ A Stranger In A Bar (I know who said it. But I'm not going to tell you.)
In 2008 I purchased my first "good" camera and I started exploring photography. I found that I love details and macros, textures, and rich colors.
I want to create images that inspire wonder. I want to show people the things they walk past without ever really seeing them.
I have selected works available for purchase at:
...and also on Fine Art America, though Flickr won't let me link to that site. Silly Flickr.
If you see something you like or want to use, drop me a line. Chances are (and depending on the use) I'll just want some credit. (I keep copies without the watermark.) Let's talk!
