I have had a passion for photography at an early age, but I really got into it when I purchased my first camera at the age of 18. At one point I had a dark room in my home and when I was in the military stationed in Korea, I spent most of my off time in the dark room, then I embraced digital technology, and everything changed. My focus is landscapes, old barns, old houses and moving water. I also like night photography and action photography; Photos that tell a story. I’m always trying to improve my skills and techniques by taking college courses and online courses. I read books on different types of photography, and I enjoy and learn from other photographers and from people that have photography as a hobby. I’m currently a member of several photography groups, including Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and other photography groups online, to learn better skills and techniques and to help other photographers where I can. I consider myself as a travel photographer and I have traveled all over the United States taking photos of this fine country.
