Howdy Dudey!

My name is Travis and I currently reside up on our fine Mid North Coast in NSW, I’ve been a passionate photographer for about 15 years and it wasn’t until early 2013 I realised that I could chase this crazy dream of music photography without some sort of degree in my hand. I’ve spent the good part of a year putting my hand up to shoot every and any band that came through my area to build up that almighty portfolio so I could find myself here on websites like Flickr so you could read an awkward biography that isn’t really even a biography it’s just me filling up space because I never know how to write these things.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some incredible artists over my first year of this venture some of them my teenage heroes, I’ve spent weekends travelling into the big smoke (Sydney) to shoot larger club and arena shows and put on weight from all the Krispy Kreme I consumed on the long drive home! A highlight for me would have been not only getting to meet the boys in Simple Plan but getting to shoot their entire set while it was pouring rain at Warped Tour in Coffs Harbour, the shots I took over that hour are possibly my personal favourites.

If this sounds like something you would like to do (even eating Krispy Kreme*) go pick up a camera and take photos until the camera doesn’t work any more! It’s the most rewarding thing I’ve done outside of having children.
