I love to watch this guy work our photoshoots are fun and psycho and he always manages to come home with something different and not seen. A guy with a beautiful and fun family as well. Dave is set with his three beautiful daughers and his ability to see things in a different perspective. Dave is a fun guy and an even funnier one. He can capture great lighting and effect by his eye and patience alone.

I thought for sure that I had already written something about the wonderfully exciting photography you'll find on Dave's photo stream. But I had not. Well, I think it's obvious that Dave is an amazingly creative guy! Seems good karma follows this man -- his photo portfolio grows all the time with the quality work you'd expect from a consummate professional. Whatever you think about his photography, you should get to know the man. In my opinion, Dave's one of the "greats" here on Flickr... and a wonderful person to call "friend".

Two words describe Dave: He totally rocks! He's known for his HDR work and Texas themed shots. But there is so much more going on! His commitment to his art and his family is amazing. I wonder when he even works? He says he has a job, but I don't believe him. :) His focus and drive is rarely found these days. Complacency is not in his vocabulary. I'm certain one day I'll be reading a magazine and see one of his shots in there! One day we were talking and he said something to the effect of, "Something great is about to happen, we're going to stumble across greatness, I can feel it!" I'm certain he's 110% right. With Dave's passion and my gasmasks I think it may happen :)

Dave has become Mr. HDR because of two things: 1) He has an incredible artist's eye for subjects that will be best rendered by multiple exposure blending 2) He has helped many others learn the "craft" of HDR images by graciously sharing his knowledge I've had the distinct pleasure to meet the man in person, and he's as nice in real life as he is in cyberspace. Flickr is a better place because of Dave's involvement here....and I'm glad to call him a friend.
