Transilvania Fest - travelling food and culture festival first launched in 2005 in Turda.

This year's edition of the Festival aims to develop.organize and implement an event that would support community development (tourism and trade) in Blaj Region (alba County,Romania)

The 7th edition of the Festival addresses not only the local communities but,to an equal extent all of those interested in revitalization of the local traditions and products.

It's strategy focuses on promoting traditions and customs from Transilvania as well as promote Tourism industry.

This ongoing photo essay created by one of the Oxford Brookes University volunteers working for the festival for second time now aims to aid achieving this goal through visual story telling.
