I fall into the category of "Keen Amateur" when it comes to photography. I started using film at the age of 12, but discovered the joys of digital 2004.

In 2006 I bought my first D-SLR, a Canon EOS 400D and in 2010 I upgraded to a Canon EOS 50D, which served me well for over 10 years. 2022 saw me buy my third DSLR, a used Canon EOS 80D. It may possibly be my last DSLR, as manufacturers seem to be moving to more compact mirrorless cameras.
