I grew up in South Jersey, and then went to college at Rutgers University. I bought a Pentax ME Super in 1983 and started taking pictures of trains. I picked up my first digital camera in 2001. I lived in Tucson, AZ for 3 years, then Memphis, TN. I currently live in Colorado.

Worked for Conrail C&S Dept in Harrisburg, PA from June 1986 to July 1987. Worked at Burlington Northern Northtown Yard, MN from Sept 1990 to Sept 1991.
