About myself

I am a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. I enjoy reading, watching (and playing) tennis, racquetball, and football, and, of course, photography. My buddy icon is my current claim to fame. In February of 2007, I was featured in a PhDComics strip. You can see the strip here

My screen name (TracerBullet999) is a tribute to one of the greatest comic strips of all time, Calvin & Hobbes. "Tracer Bullet" is one of Calvin's lesser known alter egos, a film noir-type detective. Other, more famous, alter egos include "Spaceman Spiff" and "Captain Napalm."

About my photostream

I originally created this flickr account to serve as an exhibit for my more artistic photos. However, it has evolved into a documentary of my life, both for my benefit and as a means of sharing my experiences with the rest of the world. My photostream contains both artistic photos, photos of my friends and family, and just about everything else I'd ever want to remember and share with other people. My hope is that when viewing my photostream, you will, for an ethereal moment, feel a bond of common experience with someone you will probably never meet. Indeed, this is the beauty of the internet.
