Welcome to my flickr site!
My name is Mario, thank you for visiting my flickr site.
I started more seriously with photography in early 2011 when I bought my good old D90 for my South Africa trip. Since then I am working to improve my technical and creative skills.
You are invited to leave feedback on my pictures. For me feedback and constructive criticism is very important to learn and to improve myself.
Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy my pics.

Here are some of my favourite qoutes:
“The only lifelong, reliable motivations are those that come from within, and one of the strongest of those is the joy and pride that grow from knowing that you've just done something as well as you can do it..”
Lloyd Dobens
“Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.”
Ansel Adams
“I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving: To reach the port of heaven, we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it,–but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.”
Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
“Photography has the capacity to provide images of man and his environment that are both works of art and moments in history.”
Cornell Capa
“Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working.”
Pablo Picasso
