I think of myself as a Nautical Photographer. I've been taking photographs for more than 15 years now. I tend to like images with graphic appeal. I am the proud owner of a Canon 70D with an 18-270 Tamron lens and a 100MM macro lens and a nifty fifty.

I used to volunteer a lot of my time on Flickr. I am the administrator for a group devoted to shots of buoys, found here: Buoyant. I also admin a group about the schooner The Margaret Todd, out of Bar Harbor, Maine.

Defunct groups: I was one admin for a group called Your Street. I love Autumn, so I managed a group dedicated to Porch Pumpkins. And I ran a group that celebrates looking Back To Flowers.

I was part of the Admin Team for what may have been the best Challenge Group on Flickr, The Pinnacle, now closed. I used to admin a group called The Mother of All Challenge Groups or TMOACG.

I was an Administrator for a Flickr Challenge Group called Super Hero Challenges, fun and fast was our motto! I helped found this group.

Speaking of challenge groups, I also created a group now closed for Challenge Group Leaders called Challemge Group Syndicate. There was a similar group for Award Group Leaders, Award Group Syndicate, also closed.

And I managed award groups, Flickr Heartsand Super Hearts, both now closed!

My buddy icon used to show Phil Kheogan of The Amazing Race signing a Travelocity gnome for me. I changed it to a buoy, buoys are what everyone associates me with anyway, because of Buoyant.
