In my spare time, I am a photo Junky with thousands of photos and years of organization projects ahead. I used to prefer my Minolta 35mm Camera, but have been nudged to the digital age, by everyone around me, including my wife, aka Tortuga 2--numero uno in my life.

She is my voice of reason and very understanding, with patience of gold as she rides along with me to the different areas and locations of Southern California and beyond!

I always tell her, "Just One More";---and she gives that look---its time to go home,

Subject matter: people, our pets--the tortugas and cats, places and things.

My main focus are mainly buildings and things that are changing, capturing that moment in time, that if you go back, its gone.

I love before and after photos. Time runs so fast, as a child, my grandmother and parents would always tell me about places that used to be, but there were never any photos. I guess they were my inspirations as well as the folding of the BROADWAY DEPARTMENT STORE chain where I worked for many years.

How do I find my subject matter? Everywhere, from driving around, newspapers, and now unfortunately the internet, which is loaded with information. Sometimes I think I am too obsessed. Lastly, the people around me know me too well, and also come running to me, did you hear about????
