I am a geographer graduated from the University of the Andes (Merida, Venezuela), specializing in biogeography, environmental conservation, and culture. For over 20 years, I have led projects focused on the natural history and conservation of threatened species such as the spectacled bear, torrent duck, and south american common tapir. This work has allowed me to collaborate with renowned organizations, including the National Geographic Society, the BBC (UK), NHK (Japan), and WWF. Beyond science, I am passionate about wildlife art and photography. My illustrations and photos have been featured in public exhibitions and books like the "Red Data Book of the Venezuelan Fauna" and "Los Rostros de la Extinción" (Faces of Extinction).
