Alberto de la Torre Mayado, Zamora, 1974.

  

He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Salamanca,

which he joined in 1994.

Since 1995, he has had numerous exhibitions,

Individual and group exhibitions in cities like Madrid, Ibiza,

Shanghai and London among others.

 

His work is in private and public collections.

 

His career is marked by a dualistic view of the object

Pictorial, where all certainty style or form dissolves

for a subjective experience as a result, if

complex and multifaceted.

 

Exploring own obsessions such as botany, insect kingdom,

the human figure, psychedelia and science fiction, his work finally formed

a landscape that is only certainty as possible the extent of deception,

psychic warp drives.

 

Influenced by the texts of Deleneuze, Jacques Derrida,

Gilles Lipovetsky, Stanislaw Lem, Lacan or Shakespeare

; His repertoire stems from reflections, evocations, tropics

and dreams are revealed as an altered nature
