The analog process excites me. I love opening the development tank and seeing solid negatives. Having my hands in a tray of chemicals, under the red light, watching an image slowly appear from nothing, is my panacea. I explore texture through grain, light and shadow. Imperfection is part of the process, and I embrace that in my work - whether it is from a worn out old camera, or a fault in a process. I am analog, from snapping the shutter, to creating the print.
