Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, I have used my artistic talent since youth. It has only been in the last few years that my creative journey has become clearer. Artists often say that their work is a representation of themselves. And while I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment, I also feel that art encompasses more than just the individual. It involves the entire breadth of life and what it is that we hope to achieve in it. Art emits a sense of flowing directions. The eye will travel in a painting just as the mind and body do throughout life—seeking out the story behind the canvas.
