When I think of my friend, Torkel, one word keeps coming to the surface; masterful. His approach to landscapes is unique and awe-inspiring. Many people here on flickr do a fine job with long-exposure shots, but Torkel has something much more special. He has a strong command of composition. Each photo is well-constructed to deliver the greatest emotion, and that is what separates his work from others. In today's day of immediate gratification and moving so quickly from one thing to another, time is so very scarce. Yet I ask that you take a patient 10 minutes and spend in Torkel's photostream. You will come away with a better understanding of why I feel his work is, in a word ... masterful. One of my all-time favorite photostreams, for sure.
