Photography has been a passion of mine dating back to the mid-90's when I took a high school trip down to the LSU campus for a journalism workshop. The photo journalism course was hands on from capture to development and then print. I found the whole process so fascinating that I helped revitalize my high school's unused darkroom so that others interested could get their hands wet.

My time in college gave me the opportunity to take a few intermediate and semi-advanced photography courses to learn more about the medium. While I did not pursue a career as a photographer, I am grateful of the knowledge I gained.

Since that time I have tried to keep up with the ever changing world of photography as it quickly shifted from film into the digital age.
