There is a Chinese saying describing a made up and well dressed woman "All dressed up beautifully like a bird". I never questioned or paid much attention to this saying until I started taking pictures of birds several years ago. I now realize that birds are truly beautiful and no matter how hard we humans try, we just cannot compete with them.
