I first started photographing rally cars in the mid seventies, after following the Lombard RAC Rally, forming Tony Large Photographic (TLP) a few years later. Needless to say all these early photos were in Black & White. I photographed everything, from the RAC downwards, including Night road rallies, Sprints, Hillclimbs and Off Road, even the odd Race meeting, but only if it involved Rally Cars!

Several motorsport magazines started regularly publishing my work, Rally Sport, Motoring News, etc. often resulting in commissions to photo events for them. During the eighties I was staff photographer for Rally Sport magazine, covering their successful rally championship, and also undertaking feature work for them.

TLP was regularly appointed Official Photographer on events, and went completely colour in 1986. In late 2001 I took the leap to digital photography, and bought a Canon D30 Digital SLR Camera.
