Quick Bio:
My photography started with an instamatic camera a long while ago, on film, which eventually progressed to SLR film cameras, using first print, then pro slide-film. Along cam the digital age, and the 000s of slides were superseded by many digital images, much of which you see here.
Having been very lucky to dive, the underwater world opened new ways of photography, and many adventures. Starting off with wet-cameras with film & slide, and moving onto DSLRs, with a variety of prime lens. The Terrestrial side grew alongside this, with yet another variety of cameras, using mainly Bridge and DSLRs, but in today's world, much is taken on the phone-cameras which have really come on.
Many dives are around the UK and Northern Ireland, and more recently, overseas I've a passion for Lanzarote's crystal clear waters, as well as Egypt. With the photography, I've been in many magazine publications, numerous Seasearch books, and other books such as the definitive book on Rathlin Island's history. And, also I've produced many underwater talks, using the images and plenty of research materials.
