I am a Bass Player that also take pictures.

My main occupation used to take me to West Malling, Kent most weekdays. But my time now is taken up with music, photography, gardening and grandchildren.

I play in a Rock & Roll band and a Blues band most weekends in and around the Sussex coastal towns.

Over the years I have owned various Pentax and Canon SLRs, Olympus Trip, Rollei 35, Pentax compacts. My first venture into digital was in 1999 when I bought a Fuji MX-1700 Zoom, which I still have. At the time it was the best toy I have ever owned. I soon stopped taking film pictures but missed the SLRs so much that I traded in my Pentax Me Super for a Fuji Finepix S602 Zoom and then soon after a Canon EOS 350D. This was upgraded to various Canon EOS cameras (currently Canon EOS 70D and Fuji X-T4). I also own a Pentax K1000 and a Braun Paxette which allows totally battery free film photography . My all time current favourite and camera of choice is my Fuji X100F. This is proving very versatile and a joy to use. I take this in my pocket wherever I go.

I use Serif PhotoPlus for picture editing and printing. I do very little post processing and prefer to get everything "in camera" if possible.

My preferred subjects include Street; Anything with water; Machines (dead or alive) and Unusual found objects and situations
