UPDATE 2025 Aug

One of my 2 Olympus is dead. E-M5 still survive although it was older than the E-M10MII. The battery is aged so every charge last only few shots. My LX7 still working. It is the oldest but survive all kind of handling abuse. G7X still working except the internal battery is gone so every time I change battery, I need to reset the date. I had an LX10, a gift from children. I might get a 2nd hand Olympus if E-M5 kaput. Not going to upgrade my gear at this age.

Life is not easy with the current economic situation. I had a bad fall this year and fractured my angle. I went against my advises to friends of same age group - I climbed a ladder. Anyone who above 60 reading this, take my advise DONT CLIMB ladder. Once we fall, our health also affected bec we lack exercise, the most important part of keeping old folks healthy.

UPDATE 2023 Aug

Living with uncertainty.

I survive but life is not easy after the covid with much drained saving , high inflation and reduced income. It is no fun facing all these challenges at this age but that is life. As I have seen many 60+ active photographer fading out. Some say goodby some don't. I may be joining them. When ? I don't know. The song Let It Be come to my mind. I will be posting lesser .... and who cares

UPDATE 2022 Nov

I survive !

2020 /2021 were tough years. Lost job/ income , pandemic, lockdown isolation, aging problems and other issues But looks around I still consider myself fortunate ... ... Life goes on ... with some new perspective may be more grayish but life goes on.

My gears ( all 3 cameras show one or two issues) are aging as I age... Not sure they see me go or they rest first . No!! no more new system.... Will stick with m4/3 if one of the 2 OM-D gave up on me, I will just make do with the other. If both also bye bye , I will replace with a Lumix m4/3 since the future of Olympus is unfortunate.........

Update 2018 Nov. Will reduce the frequency uploading to flickr . Approaching the last 1 or 2 decades or lesser of my life, priorities need to be reset. Flickr new policy also come at the right time so I am forced to limit number of photo to upload .

Why I take pic ? Frankly I don't know. I don't depends it for living and I don't chase after views / FAV/Likes. I guess I will get burnt out if my objective is to get as many views/FAV . But like all human I am social animal thus I share my pic and interact with few flickr members

May be I just want to capture a moment of time and space or a snippets of my life.
