Five months with Flickr today. 28,000 views, and I have made 3,743 comments, in five months. That's 25 a day. And I have looked at more photos than I commented on...
I have learned an awful lot in 5 months, about photography in general and about presenting in Flickr in particular. I am a better photographer now, and continuing to work on it. Thanks to all my friends who have commented and offered advice, thanks to the people who post thoughtful helpful comments in the forums, and thanks to all the great photographers who post inspiring photos!
I like wildlife photography. Originally I planned to post only wildlife photos on Flickr, and leave my family out, but they sort of crept in. I post maybe one for every 300 photos I take, so it could be worse.
Goals for the next five months - continue to get better at photos and sharing them in an interesting way. Do more "set up" photos than snapshots. Master the camera technically. And get in Explore! I have had four photos so far. In the next five months I want 6 more.
