Thanks for looking at my images! Please, I solicit your comments and critiques. Seriously! I can't fix it unless I know it's broken!

An award winning (over 20 so far!) photographer since 1969; loved film but am REALLY loving digital, having shifted my focus (see what I did there?) to iPhoneography. I have also been the Vice-President, and President of the Virginia Beach Photography Club. (vbpc.org ) Come check us out!

I was a dedicated Canon shooter, and have been since 1974. Had horrible experiences with Nikon, and after getting no help from their customer service, took their advice to switch to another brand! And I have never regretted it! However, a few years ago, I started with iPhone photography, and now that is all I shoot! Gave up all the big gear in 2024, and am shooting currently using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, with an assortment of lens and other accessories. It is challenging, but a LOT of fun. My interested in photography has increased dramatically, as I strive to make my iPhone images as good as, or better than, my film and DSLR photography! I also like the challenges presented by a smaller device.

For those interested (or just nosey, haha) , I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography with diplomas in both Professional Photography and Digital photography, and continue my studies in iPhoneography at uDemy, Domestrika and the iPhone School of Photography.

FWIW, I was born in 1954, so I guess that makes me a senior (physically) but mentally, I am still in my late 20s.... Love to party! Renee. my girlfriend of over 18 years also has a love of photography, and helps me with the house, and our two little dogs, a Chiweenie named Cooper, and our Terrier, Keina. All our kids are grown and gone, haha
